Holy balls, you guys. Over 1k in one day?! HOW ARE YOU SO AWESOME?!
I wanted to take a second to celebrate how far we've come already, and talk a little bit about our process. One of the major goals of this project was to connect with artists and contributors from all over the world, and so I've had the pleasure of doing just that.
Our lead artist, Big Bann Studios, is in Indonesia. They've done a KILLER job at bringing these creatures to life, from the trumplins to The Don himself. I couldn't be more stoked about it.
I'm really interested to see where some of the pledges we're getting are coming from! Unfortunately, Kickstarter doesn't provide that information directly through the dashboard, but if you want to be part of the fun, comment your country on this post so I can see where we're reaching with this book!
Also, I wanted to share this kick-ass review we received on Twitter, which had me smiling like no other. Comparing Monsters of Murka to The Onion is an unfair comparison (because they're hilarious and a parody/satire publication and... oh wait...), but I'm SO honored to have my book written about on the same line of text as the ORIGINAL satire news site.
